Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after Duncan Castles and the Express both reported that they’ve made an enquiry about Yves Bissouma.

According to Castles, Arsenal and Manchester United have also asked about the Malian.

As you can imagine, Liverpool supporters are over the moon with this news, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Bissouma looks like the midfielder Liverpool have needed ever since Georginio Wijnaldum departed, and Ian Wright even claimed earlier this week that he was tailor-made for the Reds and their style of play.

Liverpool have had a quiet transfer window so far, but if they can land Bissouma they will be ending it with a real statement signing.

Of course, whether or not the Brighton ace ends up at Anfield remains to be seen, but Jurgen Klopp’s side are certainly interested, and if they can get this one over the line it will be a very popular addition.
