Arsenal fans have been envious about seeing their London rivals Chelsea strengthen on transfer deadline day with the astute signing of Saul Niguez, while the rather unknown Takehiro Tomiyasu was signed by Edu.
Saul, 26, joined in the last hours of the transfer window on a season-long loan - with the option of a £30million transfer - to the west Londoners, meaning that a quartet of quality midfielders including N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, and now the Spaniard are all available to Thomas Tuchel as the Blues look to compete on multiple fronts for silverware.
In comparison, Arsenal were the biggest spenders in the Premier League this summer but questionable transfer decisions have arguably resulted in limited progress being projected this campaign for Mikel Arteta's side, who currently sit rock bottom of the league table.
With £150million being splashed out by Edu and co. on the likes of Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Sambi Lokonga and most recent acquisition Tomiyasu, compared to the £98million spent by Chelsea on Romelu Lukaku and Saul Niguez - although that fee could rise if the Blues take up their £30m option - demonstrates that the Blues may have got better value for money with their signings.
Here's how a selection of Arsenal fans reacted to seeing their London counterparts strengthen significantly on deadline day with the loan to bring the once £100m-rated Saul to the capital for the rest of the campaign.
