Aston Villa fans have reacted to the "interesting" line-up named by Dean Smith for the trip to Chelsea.
In Villa 's first match back from the international break, Leon Bailey returns to the matchday squad and goalkeeper Jed Steer reclaims his place between the sticks for the first time in the Premier League since November 2019.
The visitors are without Emi Martinez and Emiliano Buendia for the visit to the Capital with the duo quarantining in Croatia - a green list country - before returning to the UK in the next few days.
Bailey, John McGinn and Ramsey all return to the starting eleven, and it is a first outing for Villa's new attacking partnership of Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings.
Villa starting line-up: Steer, Tuanzebe, Konsa, Mings, Cash, J. Ramsey, Douglas Luiz, McGinn, Targett, Watkins, Ings.
Villa subs: Sinisalo, Hause, A Young, Nakamba, Sanson, El Ghazi, Bailey, Traore, Archer.
Villa fans have reacted to the team news on social media. Here is what some supporters have said...
VillaVisionBen: 3 back will be interesting. The centre backs are quick enough all on the wing backs.
@Warnster69: 3 at the back, 2 up top... I like it! Look at the strength in depth from the bench. I'd take a point right now though
@LeeGibson6: Great to see the two together up top, but unless the wing backs genuinely push on there's a danger they'll be isolated and starved of service. We'll need to press hard & look to play on the front foot. System specifically for this game, maybe?
