John-Terry has enrolled on a FIFA diploma course for football club executives

John Terry, a former defender for Chelsea, enrolled in a FIFA club executives diploma program and has since begun a career in football club management.
Following a brief stint with Aston Villa and his retirement from the sport in 2018, Terry has focused on executive roles in the industry.

The former England captain joins other ex-professionals like Fernandinho, Juan Mata, and Tim Cahill who are trying to establish themselves in the growing commercial side of sports.

It's crucial for me to continue learning with CEOs that work in football around the world and to exchange experiences with them.

"Since retiring, I've always yearned to learn more, advance my knowledge, and be prepared for what lies ahead, and I think that being a part of this club management diploma will help me out significantly in that process.'

Terry is set to join the second edition of FIFA's diploma in club management alongside Fabio Cannavaro and Philippe Senderos following the inaugural edition of the course that was held last year.
