Chelsea supporters on social media were treated to a Kai Havertz mini masterclass in close control and speedy footwork on Thursday.
Havertz was captured by the club cameras pulling off a delightful piece of skill that deserved slow motion to appreciate its complete beauty.
The German has been graced by the footballing gods with an elegance that contradicts his 6ft2in frame.
For a large lad, he conducts the ball brilliantly, even if it takes longer for the brainwaves to travel south.
Blues fans simply sat back and watched the artist at work.
Teasing a teammate in training is one thing, but translating that into a competitive game takes confidence. Something that Havertz has only just begun to discover since signing for Chelsea last summer.
Understandably, the self-assured super kid from Bayer Leverkusen lost some of his sparkle upon landing in South West London.
