Chelsea's youth academy has produced a series of top prospects over the years, including a number of players who currently represent the first team at Stamford Bridge.
The likes of Mason Mount, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek are products of the academy ranks having spent years at the club as teenagers, with Trevoh Chalobah also impressing Thomas Tuchel of late.
Even players such as Tammy Abraham and Fiyako Tomori reached a high level, although those were sold over the course of the summer rather than remaining with the squad, fetching a combined total of around £62million in transfer fees.
Chelsea are constantly developing top players, but it can be difficult for certain prospects to emerge due to the general strength of the squad.
Conor Gallagher could be the next figure to establish himself at the Bridge. The Blues youngster is currently on loan at Crystal Palace, and he's making quite an impression.
Still just 21 years-old, Gallagher is a central midfielder who has attacking qualities, and those are being harnessed by Patrick Vieira at Selhurst Park.
PROMOTED STORIES
The Englishman has primarily been deployed on the right of a central midfield trio, and he's been given enough freedom to get forward from deeper areas to join attacks, as shown below.
