Chelsea remain winless in this season's Champions League after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Salzburg

Graham Potter's first game as head coach ended in a 1-1 draw for Chelsea at home against Salzburg, meaning they are still winless in the Champions League this year.

Last week, in the Blues' opening Group E meeting against Dinamo Zagreb, they suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat, which turned out to be Thomas Tuchel's final game as manager.

When Raheem Sterling opened the scoring against Salzburg with Chelsea's first shot on goal in the second half, Potter's reign appeared to be off to a winning start.

However, Salzburg, who defeated Milan last week and are currently unbeaten in nine games across all competitions, fought back through Noah Okafor in the 75th minute, leaving Potter and his team disappointed.
